SCHOOL DROPOUT PREVENTION AND RETURN TO SCHOOL ENCOURAGEMENT
The goal of this project is to prevent school drop out and promote the s moving forward of young people.

The school perseverance project is a service offered by the CJEOI counsellors present in eight schools in the West island: Place Cartier Adult Education Centre, Centre d’éducation des adultes Jeanne-Sauvé, Dorval-Jean-XXIII, Félix-Leclerc, PCHS High School, Riverdale High School, Beaconsfield High School et Horizon High School. Our project is aimed at assisting youth in order to promote their academic success by keeping them motivated and providing them with the necessary tools to deal with the demands of the environment. Counsellors are available according to a flexible schedule, thus promoting the scheduling of appointments while allowing for spontaneous meetings with the students. This service benefits from the support of the Marguerite-Bourgeoys and Lester-B.-Pearson School Board and the Secrétariat à la jeunesse.
