Leaders in Environmental Action Program (L.E.A.P.)

WHAT IS IT?
The Leaders in Environmental Action Program supports and inspires the next generation of green leaders to ensure a more prosperous community for tomorrow by launching their very own eco-projects across the West Island!
The L.E.A.P. will offer students the chance to take advantage of all-new educational resources, project-development and financial support. With the help of our invaluable partners such as the RBC Foundation and GM Canada, Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de l'Ouest-de-l'Île will provide in-class workshops as well as a dedicated online platform to help students bring their own ideas to life. We will also be offering micro-grants, up to $1,000, for youth-led projects in need of financial assistance.
WHAT ARE THEY SAYING?
'The L.E.A.P. would be a fantastic asset to the community and an incredible help to our school!"
- Diane Blackburn, MacDonald High School Teacher/ Mac Nature Club Leader
« Le programme représente une opportunité pour les jeunes de prendre part à un projet se déroulant dans leur communauté et leur donnant les moyens de faire une différence dans leurs milieux de vie. »
- Tania Charron, Action jeunesse de l'Ouest-de-l'Île Executive Director
